MantiSkull
From RantyPaedia
The MantiSkull is the term used by Rock 'N' Rant fans in reference the symbol that acts as both logo and mascot to the organisation. Designed by Paul Selman, the MantiSkull comprises of two capital Rs arranged to resemble a stylised skull with an N taking the place of the nasal cavity.
The term "MantiSkull" was coined by Brad Harmer as he felt it looked partly like a skull and partly like the head of a praying mantis. The MantiSkull made its first public appearance on the promotional posters for the House Of Rant event. This version was not the standard MantiSkull that has since become familiar, but was a variation which was subsequently referred to as the LiquiSkull due to a running effect on the edges suggesting that the MantiSkull had been spray-painted or daubed onto the poster with some other liquid substance.
Versions Of The MantiSkull

- RantiSkull - a meaner looking more insectoid variation of the standard mantiskull designed by Brad Harmer and rarely seen
